August 21, 20214 yr Searched a lot for an motheboard mini-ITX to build an small NAS and found the ASRock Rack E3C242D2I It does not support high-end CPUs, but has 6 sata ports, M.2, IPMI. My question is how can I connect those 6 SATA drives into it? Theres one SATA DOM port, one SATA port. Noob question I can see that, but plese be kind.
August 21, 20214 yr I considered that mobo for my rebuild but ended up with the ASRock C246 WSI instead. For the SATA connections they are the same. You need the OCULink cable. My rebuild thread:
