Disk read error

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have one of my hard drive that have read error and have been disabled, but smart still look good. I tried to rebuild it, don't know if it has a better way to reactivate it, and completed without any error and work great for a week but today, again, read error and have been disabled.

I'm waiting the smart extended test to be done. In the log i can see a lot of hard reseting link so i was not sure.

Do you think the drive are failing even with good smart result?

Do you think i should replace drive 5 too?

Also, is there any way i could do something about the load cycle count increasing so fast on my hard drive? is this bad? One of my drive was past 2M so i was wondering
Thank you for your help

Looks more like a connection problem, replace/swap cables on disk1 and try again.
