can't open terminal in Safari (again 🤨)

Looks like the most recent update to Safari has broken the terminal window again. When I click the terminal button I just get a mostly blank browser window. The cursor moves with text input but nothing is displayed.

Did you find a fix for this? I just found the same issue.

Use another browser. Or perhaps there is some way to revert to an older version of safari? Not sure about that.

I ended up downloading the Microsoft Edge app for MacOS - works surprisingly well in general. Def works for the terminal.

FireFox works well too.

Brave is my goto.

Honestly, while Apple's hardware and OS keep getting better and better, their apps have gone to total crap the past couple years. I don't think there are any that I still use on most on my machines (my laptop still uses Safari for basic tasks), they are all increasingly buggy and unreliable; Server, Mail, iTunes/Music, Safari, Numbers...all get worse with every update. It's a shame, really, 5 or so years ago they were so close to having a completely on brand work environment and now they're just an OS again.
