myongha
Pretty noob level when it comes to networking and servers. I built my windows pc as a gaming rig a while back (years ago), see link for parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/myongha/saved/4Yxscf Is this enough to run an unraid nas with parity for files storage / plex media server / gaming? If so, how would I go about setting this up (as i stated complete noob). Edited October 14, 2021 by myongha Spelling Quote Link to comment

Not if you plan on any kind of media transcoding. And probably not for gaming. Quote Link to comment
myongha
Do you think I would have to essentially replace everything to get the system to work? Or just a few components. I was planning on buying 3 nas drives already. Quote Link to comment

If you plan to do other, more CPU intensive tasks, then you'll need to upgrade to the modern CPU/Motherboard combo. Quote Link to comment
