Trying to understand network bonding

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm quite new to UNRAID and I have a system with 2 1Gb NICs on it that I want to use for my network transfers over SMB. I have a smart switch that I have enabled LAG on (Netgear GS724TV4) and set the bonding mode in UNRAID to 802.3ad but when I try to have 2 file transfers over 2 PCs (I only have PCs with single 1Gb NICs), the server is splitting the bandwidth of a single gigabit rather being able to transfer over the full 2Gb of both my NICs. Below are screenshots of my network and UNRAID networking configuration. I'm using UNRAID 6.9.2 as a server and Windows 10 Pro clients.
