hi

i have just started updating my unraid server from 4tb to 8 tb disks and i am getting weird disk issues 

disk read errors 

disks disabling 

disk showing crc errors

but they all pass smart tests and they where al pre cleared before install and all checked out fine 

classic example swapped a 4 for a 8 yesterday set the parity running parity run fine woke up this morning disk is disabled so set the parity running again  

 

any help would be appreciated

 

i have re seated all cables and drives not that it should have needed it i never got a single erro with the 4tb drives

also all drives are ironwolf

you know its strange how sometime you can search and search and its right Infront of your face
