CLI delete network config

Featured Replies

is there a way to delete the network conf file from CLI? I have GPU installed which is causing GUI black screen and cant access through network IP.

Just dont want to have to pull the server out of the rack to get to the USB and pull it.

Don't see what the 2 have to do with each other.  But,

rm /boot/config/network.cfg
rm /boot/config/network-rules.cfg
powerdown -r

Your server will be set back up as DHCP etc.

Well i can"t start in GUI mode because i get a black screen, due to GPU (havent figured that part out in BIOS yet), and I cant access with given IP Address. But, if i start in regular OS mode i can get CLI to remove network config files without having to remove the server from the rack and open up to pull usb to insert into my PC to remove. Then can reassign static IP once logged into new DHCP IP Address.

Worked flawlessly, Thank you
