Cannot get Trial to boot

I cannot get the latest stable release to boot.  The last error message is "not syncing:  UFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown—block(0,0)."  I am trying to install UnRaid on a 2009 Mac mini w/1 TB SSD and 4Gb of RAM.

What the H**l is "Verification Expired, Please try again."  I have done this three times in the time it has taken to write this post.
