November 27, 20214 yr I have been having random unraid crashes for a couple months now. It only stays responsive for a short period of time (a few days to a week or so). I recently updated most of my hardware. The current setup is an x570 Tachi with 32GB RAM (4x8GB sticks), Ryzen 3900x, 2x 1TB 980 Pro NVME's (in raid 0 on unraid for cache) Asus GeForce GTX 1060, Aquantia 10Gbe (PCI card), Avago LSI SAS 9201-16e (PCI controller Card). I have two Dell MD1200 array's (each with two controllers) connected to the LSI controller card. The first MD1200 is loaded with various WD white's and the second MD1200 array I just purchased with the new hardware loaded with 4TB SAS drives. I originally added the entire second MD1200 to the array but had a bunch of trouble with drives dropping out so I went back to just using the original MD1200 with all WD SATA drives to figure out the issues before adding the new array. In general the second array seems a bit sporadic and I have the drives as "unassigned". I thought it was a problem with the new MD1200 but I was send a replacement and it acts exactly the same. a couple of the unassigned drives move between dev2 and sdq (as an example) as I'm viewing the unassigned devices on the Main tab in unraid. I also get a bunch of "metadata corruption detected" errors on the dedicated monitor attached to Unraid (see pic). I've went through the drives and ran the xfs_repair which seems to work but it seems to keep getting corruption notification on the monitor even while the unraid is still running. I'm not sure if this is related to the crashing but thought I'd mention it. I setup the syslog to mirror to flash to help troubleshoot the crashes. I'm attaching the syslog from the last few hours of the crash and a screenshot of what was on the attached monitor after unraid became unresponsive. Any help with troubleshooting the issue would be much appreciated. -pilotech Syslog crash.txt Edited November 27, 20214 yr by pilotech
