Random crash AMD Ryzen 7 1700

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been having problems with my system crashing at random times. I have followed the AMD Ryzen fix recommendations.

I have changed the memory to Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G32C16U4B 3200 MHz, DDR4 and this is running at 2667 MH.

I have no idea why the system is crashing and I have attached the diag from my last reboot. The system has to be hard restarted as the crash freezes the system and has to be hard restarted. please help I have no idea what is the problem.

Did you also set the correct power supply idle control option in the BIOS?

Yes, I think it is set to typical power. Not sure of the exact wording.

I have had syslog running for some time. I have attached the log from last nights crash. I hope there is enough in the log.

I restarted the server at about 08:30 AM.

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, could be a hardware issue, look for a BIOS update, or try different hardware if available, ideally Intel based.
