Hey guys, 

I hope this is the right place for a topic like this. First of all y'all have to know that I'm a total beginner. I got a hp Microserver for cheap and tried to use it as a NAS. I've installed community plugging already and followed a tutorial to setup Nextcloud. I think I messed upas some point...sure I can share all the Logs but I think I would be easier to reset all.

Here's my question: Is is possible to do a factory reset? Clean all drives and make a clean install?

Why not just remove those dockers and start again from that point?

I've already tried that. 

But know some files are missing that normally would be autogenerated😑

After I reinstall adminer and MariaDB, in the WebUI of adminer it says "SQLSTATE[HY000] [2006] MySQL server has gone away"

I already tried to create a User and Database on the console with:

mysql> CREATE DATABASE `mydb`;

 

But even at this point there is an error:

ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)

What do you mean exactly? Just remove the dockers, delete their appdata, and you will be starting completely over with them.

Please don't link to external sites. You can attach anything directly to your posts in this forum.

That worked out fine! I wasn't aware of deleting their appdata. Thank you! That saved me a lot of research!😅
