New here and new to unraid and is planning to do a build that will replace my QNAP-nas. I read the thread about recommended controllers and I have found these two:

From what I can tell the chipset on these two devices are in the good to go list but would love to hear input about these two and any other recommendation.

 

For MB I have landed on ASUS PRIME Z590M-PLUS where I plan to add two m2-sticks for cache and vm/docker. CPU will most likely be a Intel Core i7 11700K 3.6 GHz,16MB.

I went with the LSI card. Placed orders during the weekend so all my parts should show up during this week.
