Array will not start--- Solved

Featured Replies

I removed the bad disk and am trying to start the array and it just hangs. I have attached the diagnostics report from console Durning hang. Any help is apricated. Also, I keep losing disk one and i have no clue why. Its a brand new disk and I replaced the cable. Unraid sees all drives except disk 1 and there are no disks in the unassined devices tab.

Parity disk seems to be missing. There is another disk appearing in SMART that might be the one you intend for disk1, but it isn't assigned.

Check all connections, all disks, SATA and power, both ends, including splitters.

Sorry, that is the parity disk, but it has disconnected and reconnected as a different device so isn't recognized.

Thanks for your help. I guess I need to buy better-quality power splitters. I rearranged everything so that everything has its own connection to the PSU except for the two ssds. Everything is working and running a parity check. I will try to hunt for a power supply with a good amount of sata power connections or try to find better quality splitters. Thanks again for your help.
