April 29, 201115 yr I was wondering if support could be added for multiple network cards so as the unRaid server my access multiple subnets at the same time. My current network is subnetted as 255.255.255.128 I use this because I have to independent connections to the internet. One fast one but with a limited data cap. Another slower one with unlimited data. I currently use a 2 server solution for this but to reduce electricity costs I would like to migrate to a 1 server solution. The reason I use 2 servers is I am not sure if unRaid would support smb shares over one subnet while running sabnzbd, sickbeard and couchpotatio on the other subnet.

You can set up a second NIC manually. It is not overly difficult and has been discussed in the General Support forum a number of times. Do a search there and via google for what you might need to do.
April 29, 201115 yr The Easy solution is to get a router that can support multiple wants. That way you can have you internal network on the same subnet and same gateway. On the dual wan router you just route to the desired wan destination based on the source ip. I do this myself using PFSense on this motherboard http://pcengines.ch/alix2d13.htm. You can build one for around 150 dollars.

Also the infrastructure is already in place. I suppose I just need help configuring all my services to use the second nic.
April 29, 201115 yr Author I have configured unRaid for what i needed it to do manually. Though I still believe that the nRaid gui should include options if the machine has multiple NIC's. It would allow for much user friendly configuration.
July 15, 201411 yr +1 Resurrecting this thread, was just curious if this was going to be included with any future releases.
July 15, 201411 yr Based on what is currently being worked on, I'd have to guess this is pretty far down the list. It wasn't mentioned on the road map. Sent from a mobile device, sorry for any typos.

I figured that, just didnt want this feature request to be lost in the other noise that's happening on the forums. This feature has been asked about for a long time and pops up quite a bit in other threads. No worries though just bringing it up again.
