foxy82
Hi, I'm new to VMs on UNRAID MS is offering Win 11 VMs to try out here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/downloads/virtual-machines/?utm_content=educational&utm_source=email-sendgrid&utm_medium=3452562&utm_campaign=2022-03-03&utm_term=5294450 There are 4 formats VM-Ware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, Parallels - which can I use in UNRAID and what are the steps to use these formats in UNRAID? Thanks Quote Link to comment
JackSafari
Hyper-V is likely to be the best choice, but see this post: FAQ: Can I convert my VMWare virtual machine to run on unRAID ? My recommendation is simply to install Windows 11 from the official Windows 11 setup ISO from MS Website, and then follow SpaceInvader One video. This process requires Unraid 6.0.10-RC2 (or later). His channel has excellent Unraid videos. Edited March 11, 2022 by JackSafari Quote Link to comment
