April 3, 20224 yr Greetings. I'd jumped off unraid for little over a year as I was having some issues with some VMs I wanted to run. Figured I'd give it another go with some of the updates. I put together a fresh install on an old system I used to run unraid on. After booting and selecting GUI the system loads but presents a blank screen instead of the expected gui. I am sure its loading because I can Ctrl Alt F1 to the login and move around as root at the command line. System specs CPU - Ryzen 5950x Mobo - Asus X570 Crosshair VIII Memory: 4x16gb 3200mhz corsair vengeance Graphics*(This is the only new piece of hardware since I last had Unraid working) - EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra LHR Storage: 2x 1tb M.2 NVMEs, 1x 2tb SSD, 4 drives combined into 2 Raid 0 pairs at the bios level. Expansion: 1x USB controller for added USB ports, 1x Firewire card Unraid version: 6.9.2 Attempted fixes 1. I tried a nomodeset appended to the end of the boot line for the gui boot. I found this on a reddit post that linked to a post here. 2. I tried playing around with drivers but was not sure what to do here as the only references I found were regarding Intel and AMD 3. Updated bios settings to ensure required settings were on 4. Switching from UEFI to legacy boot. This worked and the GUI appeared So ultimately my question is can anyone provide advice on what the conflict could be if UEFI provides no video and legacy does? This is way outside my level of expertise so I'm not even sure what to play with. Edited April 3, 20224 yr by Uleepera

In 6.9.2 you need to enable grahics drivers etc. have a look at the wifi page for 6.9.0 when it was introduce. 6.10RCs load them by default. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Release_Notes/Unraid_OS_6.9.0#GPU_Driver_Integration
