Server unresponsive

Featured Replies

Version: 6.9.2

Hi, my server generally lasts about 20-30 days, then the UI becomes unresponsive, all docker containers become unresponsive, all shares and vms. Requires a reset and everthing comes back online fine.

Server has past 24hr memtest and all hardware is fairly new (except for sata disks).

This has been going on since I built it, however it does seem to last longer then before (used to only be a week)

I've had syslog logging going but it doesn't seem to show much.

BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. Version 1.C0. Dated: 10/10/2020

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz

HVM: Enabled

IOMMU: Enabled

Memory: 16 GiB DDR4 (max. installable capacity 64 GiB)

Happy to try any troubleshoot steps

Not necessarily your problem, but try running your memory at its rated speed of 2133 instead of it's overclocked XMP profile of 2666

In addition, run a Memtest from the boot menu

I did the memtest with xmp on but I’ll certainly give it a go with it off thanks. I’ll also run it off for a while and see how the stability goes. Thanks

Before i got to change XMP to off, it had another lockup overnight.

XMP is now off, shall monitor.
