April 25, 20224 yr Hi, I am quite new to unraid so apologies if this is something obvious. I am considering upgrading my server with an nvidia gpu for Plex transcoding and Shinobi gpu object detection. Can the same gpu be used for both containers ? Thank you
April 25, 20224 yr Solution Yup. I currently share my gpu between multiple dockers (emby and deepstack). The only thing you can't do is share it between dockers and a VM. Once its passed through to a VM its "owned" by the VM.
June 21, 20242 yr @GavinCampbell sorry to revive this, but is it possible to have multiple GPUS used by 1 docker container? I'm trying to run ollama https://github.com/ollama/ollama/issues/2672#issuecomment-1959505845 which does support multiple GPUs, but don't want to buy another GPU if I can't support it in unraid with nvidia plugin and docker
