banterer
My two SSDs I'm using as cache are mismatched sizes. I *think* from what I've read this means that they aren't protected, is that right? Is the only way (apart from a backup script) to have them the same size in an array, or does btrfs do something that I don't understand? Quote Link to comment
Solution itimpi Posted May 4, 2022 Solution Share Posted May 4, 2022 It depends on the BTRFS profile they are set to use. The default is raid1 and that means they are protected, but the usable space is only that of the smaller device. Quote Link to comment

I can't find them for some reason? Quote Link to comment
banterer
(BTW I have a 128GB and a 240GB, and the dashboard tells me I have 184GB cache... so I don't really get that! Quote Link to comment
