Am I being really stupid here!

 

I'm trying to change the ddns name in the VPN manager, delete the tunnel and peers etc. Everytime I create the new one it reverts back to the old name!

 

Do I need to factory reset it or something?

My guess based on what you've written is that your browser or a browser extension thinks you are trying to sign in and is "helpfully" filling out your credentials from the last time you used the page.  See if you can figure out how to delete the stored password information for this page in your browser.

 

You could also try using a different browser, and if it asks if you want to save the password say No.
