June 1, 20224 yr Hi Everyone, excited to get my first unRaid server going. Want to get a pre-built server that is ready to go...was thinking of getting a Dell PowerEdge R710 6-Bay server or something similar on eBay. Needs to rack mount, preferably 2U. Are there any unRiad software compatibility issues with PowerEdge parts? Does anyone have experience with the PERC H700 RAID Controllers in some of these Dell servers? Are traditional RAID cards ok to use? Linus (LTT) mentioned HBA cards might be best for accurate drive health reporting etc, let me know your thoughts!
