June 12, 20224 yr I have an Apple xRaid chassis. It has 14 3.5 bays. I can strip the Apple power supply out and find something that will fit. Does anyone have a good idea on a MB? I actually have a dual Xeon unraid server that serves my needs, it only has 6 bays. I have mostly unloaded the processing off of the dual Xeons, so may be time to retire that bad boy. Thanks

June 16, 20224 yr why not just run external sas to a sas expander in the apple xraid chassis from your current server. You could retain your current power supply and just use it as a storage enclosure. Attached a picture of how that can work
