June 18, 20224 yr I just added another movie to my NAS and Plex is now offline. I rebooted the NAS Unraid and it now back online. I updated Plex and when I try to connect, I get a refused to connect. I tried on another computer on my network but I get the same thing. I have included the latest Diagnostics to help with this troubleshoot. On another question, I noticed on the Unraid dashboard that my Movie container is set to private but other containers are public. I will check this as well. I appreciate someone taking a look and give me suggestions to get my Plex back running! Thanks! sutterstuff-diagnostics-20220618-0628.zip

June 18, 20224 yr Community Expert Share security settings only affect how files are accessed over the network. Plex doesn't care since it is not accessing these over the network.
June 18, 20224 yr Community Expert Probably unrelated but your appdata and system shares have files on the array.
June 18, 20224 yr Author I believe I am using Plex Media Server. Obviously, I am not knowledgeable regarding appdata and system share on my RAID. suggestions?
June 18, 20224 yr Author Interesting... Plex just connected but I had to reclaim plex. I watch plex connect - then disconnect and then reconnect. Now, UNRAID is off with a refused to connect. and about 30 sec without a refresh, it comes back online. I don't have many issues with my network that I am aware of and the NAS is connected directly to my Orbi router and not through a switch

Plex Client applications are for running on your TV, Roku, PC, and other things that can display your media. I also assume you are using a Plex Media Server docker, though it is also possible to run PMS in a VM. There are several PMS dockers available on the Apps page. Which one do you have installed?

June 18, 20224 yr Author I believe the PMS I am using is plexinc/pms-docker The Docker URL is https://hub.docker.com/r/plexinc/pms-docker/ In regards to the stability of UNRAID etc., this morning when my PLEX was unable to connect, I rebooted the UNRAID NAS and waited for the RAID to reconnect. I attempted to launch the PMS through UNRAID docker and it did not connect. I went to plex.tv and tried to bypass the docker through Unraid and no luck. Less than 5 minutes later, plex was now connected though the media was now unpinned with a triangle. Typically I go to Authorized devices and delete my PMS to then have the system 'find' a new PMS. In the authorized devices my PMS states: Plex Media Server Docker Container Linux 5.10.28-Unraid and is now online.
June 18, 20224 yr Author I want my PMS to be able to allow people that I have shared access to view remotely on either a TV or device as well as myself typically on my TV. Is the PMS that I currently have the best choice to have PMS on a NAS to view on network as well as remote?
June 18, 20224 yr Community Expert All plex are basically the same regardless of which container you have. Your questions are about plex, not about Unraid. Remote access to your plex server is the same.
June 29, 20224 yr Did you ever fix this problem? After the unRaid updated the OS to 6.10.3, the Plex WebGUI refused to connected, it was working fine until that happened...
