ipworkstations
Hi all! We're running (or wanting to) a VM on a fairly simple Intel 11th Gen Core i7 system, 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD. For the past two weeks, my VM (running Windows Server 2008 R2) has been fine starting and stopping. However, in the past day or two - it's been going to a "Paused" state and when I try to 'resume' it says "internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'cont': Resetting the Virtual Machine is required" In the logs of the running VM, the only error is :- KVM internal error. Suberror: 3 I've attached the full log, but i'm not sure what it relates to. I am running Unraid 6.9.2 and I have also tried 6.10.3 (which offers even more erratic behaviour). Any help would be greatly appreciated! svr2008_log.txt Quote Link to comment

DrMcNasty
Might as well add a third one on this as I am seeing the same thing as well on a brand new VM I built out today. Would be nice to understand what is happening here Quote Link to comment
brent112
Did anyone ever find a solution? I am getting the same error as well on a brand new VM. Just getting it to to install Windows 10 required me enabling SeaBIOS, setting DVD drive to SATA, however while running through the windows install I get the below. sandbox on,obsolete=deny, elevateprivileges=deny, spawn=deny, resourcecontrol=deny \ -msg timestamp=on char device redirected to /dev/pts/3 (label charserial0) qxl_send_events: spice-server bug: guest stopped, ignoring KVM internal error.
