PCI throwback question re: GPU compatibility with 6.10

Featured Replies

I was using macs during the heyday of PCI so I'm learning a lot about antiquated technology.

I just picked up a cheap Supermicro x11-SSA-F with four 5v PCI-32 slots. All of the PCIe slots are accounted for. With a e3-1285 the onboard graphics stop working at post in the HTML5 ikvm and a physical pikvm. So I figured I might as well stick something in one of the PCI slots to be able to access the host.

Going way back I found a recommendation for a ATI Rage XL 8M video card. Is this still a supported option with 6.10? Is there a more universally supported alternative I should look for?
