  1. Haven't made any changes recently. Noticed this spamming the syslog today and my cache drives were full. Move files off cache based on age has always been set to no. move: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/age_mover: line 372: ((: TOTALARRAYSIZE += : syntax error: operand expected (error token is "+= ")
  2. I'm in pretty much the same situation. Did you figure out what was happening @NotHere?
  3. Touché. Missed that. Since disabling NFS it hasn't happened so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thank again!
  4. Thanks for the reply @JorgeB. I'd dug through that post. In a search of my log, unlink_node had no results so I dismissed it as being unrelated. However, I did have NFS enabled, so I've disabled it.
  5. I've read many threads about missing shares. I know that I can perform a reboot and everything returns to normal. However, having to reboot once or twice a month is not what I think of as stable. Most folks have stable unraid systems... why don't I? I've been experiencing this periodically from the mid 6 releases on. I wake up to an error about one backup or another failing and find all of the shares missing and the following. My trial and error investigations has been fruitless. Appears to be independent of docker and vms. With both off and the array spun up its also occurred. All of my hardware has been extensively tested to rule that out as well. Unraid is at the core of my lab, and most of the time it exceeds expectations. And then there are some mornings, like today, that I feel let down. I have no doubt this is a "my system" problem and not a bug. However if someone is willing to take a look at my diagnostics I'd sure appreciate it. bukadoza-diagnostics-20221019-1022.zip
  6. @limetech, I can confirm, it's the intel igpu. Same result as @Hoopster.
  7. I can also confirm that attaching a monitor does not fix it. Thanks anyway, @JorgeB.
  8. @JorgeB, that was the post I started with. With both the iGPU and AST GPUs blacklisted the error persists. And with the addition of a dummy vga plug, as well. bukadoza-diagnostics-20220925-0145.zip
  9. Sorry, diagnostic file added. Thanks for the reminder, @JorgeB.
  10. This is one of a handful of challenges I'm facing since upgrading from 6.10.3 to 6.11. I'm starting with what I hope is low hanging fruit. Since upgrading, my log is flooded with "kernel: EDID block 0 is all zeroes" I have a supermicro X11SSH-F motherboard with an e3-1285v6. I hardware transcode with the i915 igpu for plex. So far, I've tried recommendations in posts to blacklist the i915 driver (I don't know if this would disable HW transcoding in plex, but it don't work anyway) e.g., echo "blacklist i915" > /boot/config/modprobe.d/i915.conf Reboot. Same errors. I've also unplugged the kvm and replaced it with a vga dummy plug. Reboot. Same. Any other ideas? bukadoza-diagnostics-20220924-1154.zip
  11. So, after rebooting my system (X11SSH-F, e3-1285v6) and starting the array the cpu immediately overheated and throttled. This has never happened before. After a few reboots I realized that three of the four sensors (except the hard drive temp) disappeared from the footer as soon as the array came online. After more investigation, I discovered that after starting the array all of the sensors go missing from the Display Settings: Global Available Sensors and Dashboard Sensors dropdowns (except HDD Temperature). The Footer Settings similarly only include HDD Temperature. The Fan Control: Fan Settings only has Hard Drives to Poll and nothing else. Finally, the logfile only has a button that says, undefined. Once the array started, communication appears to be lost and all of the fans, including the cpu fan freezes and fail to spin up. From the console I can run ipmitool sdr and see all of my sensors and readings Before the array starts everything is as it was and the fans work. Once the array starts ipmi tools plugin fails. Any insight as to what's going on? EDIT: This occurs without starting any additional services, e.g. docker, vms, etc.
  12. I was using macs during the heyday of PCI so I'm learning a lot about antiquated technology. I just picked up a cheap Supermicro x11-SSA-F with four 5v PCI-32 slots. All of the PCIe slots are accounted for. With a e3-1285 the onboard graphics stop working at post in the HTML5 ikvm and a physical pikvm. So I figured I might as well stick something in one of the PCI slots to be able to access the host. Going way back I found a recommendation for a ATI Rage XL 8M video card. Is this still a supported option with 6.10? Is there a more universally supported alternative I should look for?
