October 7, 20223 yr Hi everyone, My array is encrypted with a passphrase (well 2 to be honest) I followed a lot of post and youtube video to create the keyfile to auto unlock my array. It just never works, so I made it the more simple as I can and I put my keyfile directly in the root folder just to make sure I can unlock. It still gives me wrong key error. Now in my key I had $ sign and I though it might be an issue, so I added another key without any special char, only digits and letter (uppercase and lowercase). Still won't work with the keyfile. Both key works when I use passphrase on the GUI. Anybody have an idea ? Thank you
October 7, 20223 yr Author I mean /root/ Post I saw mentionned to put the file there (well fetch from remote source then copy the file there but just to test that I works I have create my file there with echo command)
October 7, 20223 yr Author Solution Ok strange enough, I created my keyfile under windows with Notepad ++. Using the GUI I selected this file and it worked. Then I copied the keyfile now stored in the /root folder to another folder with my go script putting it back into root at boot and it works ... Gonna put it remote but for now my issue is resolved.
