October 22, 20223 yr Hi Everyone, I have 2 fairly specific use cases of the mover I am hoping to get clarity on! 1) If the mover has been started (either manually or by schedule) and whilst it is moving what was on the drive when the mover started you copy more data to that cache driver will it a) copy what was on originally and then continue to move and complete files when the original has finished, or b) only move the original set of files, leaving the newly copied on the cache until the mover is started again. 2) If the mover has started copying files to the array, then whilst transferring alter the share to not use cache, will the files continue to copy to the array normally or be left stuck on the cache? Thank you!
October 26, 20223 yr It is my understanding that the mover copies first then removes files. Prior to copying and moving it takes an inventory of files first before it moves.
