UnRaid freezes

Featured Replies

Hello dear unraid users,
so far I must say: Unraid is top and makes me a lot of fun, even for a complete beginner like me.

Unfortunately I have the problem that after an indefinite time the computer simply freezes and can only be hard reset.
Since I have no idea what the problem could be I have you in the attachment once the "syslog" file packed.
I would be very happy if someone had a solution. I look forward to a constructive answer!

See this forum post for tips on how to improve unRAID/Linux stability with Ryzen-based system.  First generation Ryzen is particularly probelmatic.

Thank you very much! The problem has been solved!

My procedure (Thanks to @Hoopster):

- BIOS updated to latest version (was from 2017 which I had on it, the new version is from 2022).
then I had MSI One Click Bios on it (previously an ancient version)
- here in the OC - AMD Settings and the entry "Global C-State Control" set to "typical current idle" as described in the link above.
- Reboot and complete reinstallation with the latest version now runs without problems for hours!

Many greetings from Germany
