Veriz
Hi, Im new to Unraid and just built my first Unraid Host. IT is running on a Asus Prime Z690-A, uefi boot for unraid, resize bar disabled, not Fastboot, IOMMU enabled from start all virtualization extensions enabled. CPU: Core i9-12900KF memory: Dominator ddr5-5200 AMD Sapphire Radeon 6600XT I previously had a dell T620 running Ubuntu with 2 Raid-z pools. Now im trying to consolidate NAS/Gaming/Lab into one machine. I´ve read some articles in this forum about passthrough and think i´ve done the setup correctly. Install windows 11 from ISO, installed Virtio drivers. Then when i try to passthrough the 6600xt and associated sound device it won´t boot. if i run virtual graphics with VNC console it runs, but when i try to passthrough the 6600 card the logs says device is busy. I have done the passthrough the "new" way using tools, system devices, selected both iommu groups and bound them at boot. i also tried it the old way but same result. When i tried using the i440 Bios i can´t get through the windows 11 setup, screen goes black after naming the OS. tower-diagnostics-20221202-2315.zip Quote Link to comment
Veriz
The error i get in logs are this: 2022-12-05T13:28:54.125767Z qemu-system-x86_64: vfio_region_write(0000:03:00.0:region0+0x9ef90, 0xff000000ff000000,8) failed: Device or resource busy Even tried Windows 10 VM with Q35-7.1 and gpu passthrough. doesn´t feel like Unraid has let go of the device properly, Any help would be greatly appreciated Quote Link to comment

If not, I'd suggest have a look at your settings again (maybe your stubbing, your CPU isolation/pinnings), your BIOS settings. I've been away from unRAID for 2 years and just come back and I can see weird stuff in the logs any one of which could be the issue). Quote Link to comment
