Need help interpreting SMART report

Featured Replies

As the title says, I'm needing help understanding a SMART report for one of the disks in my array. It looks to me like it didn't pass the extended SMART test, but at the top of the report it says that it passed. I'm more than a little confused

The bit at the top simply means that none of the attributes currently have a FAILING NOW state and is typically meaningless.

Failure of a SMART test is a far more definitive sign that the drive needs replacing.
