Is the displayed hardware ok to start a decent unraid server? This is what i already have from an older Dell computer. Other hardware to complete the server will be bought soon.

Without booting the board from an unRAID USB stick that is a hard question to answer.  The parts look good enough.  I run my test server on a very similar Dell Optiplex with 1.5GB of RAM and a P4.  It is not the most efficient machine ever invented but that does not really matter in this case.

Got it working. This works just fine, streaming BR rips is no problem at all .

Now going to build a proper server

ps: look at my test setup 

If that is the antistatic bag under the motherboard you are going to want to remove that.  The outside of that bag has NO antistatic properties.  You may inadvertently cause hard to the motherboard.
