Other hardware to complete the server will be bought soon. thanks, Ron Without booting the board from an unRAID USB stick that is a hard question to answer. The parts look good enough. I run my test server on a very similar Dell Optiplex with 1.5GB of RAM and a P4. It is not the most efficient machine ever invented but that does not really matter in this case.

July 15, 201114 yr If that is the antistatic bag under the motherboard you are going to want to remove that. The outside of that bag has NO antistatic properties. You may inadvertently cause hard to the motherboard.
