Any way to use unRAID as a das?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have an unRAID server with a lot of storage and a different server that runs an application, but I would like to store the application data on an unRAID share instead of the internal raid configured on the other server.

The other server is running Ubuntu server. I have tried using an nfs share but the speed is too slow for my workload. It's a lot of smaller files. Is there any solution?

Perhaps settings I can change or a different protocol, community app, usb attachment, das attach etc.

Thanks

No clue if it will actually perform better, but there is an iSCSI plugin available.
