unRAID docker randomly crashes

Featured Replies

Hello, I am getting genuinely frustrated as my home media server continuously keeps crashing. First I thought it was the ram, so I replaced that, then I thought it was the hard drives, replaced them. Still happening. Either jellyfin will error out or unRAID will, but lately unRAID has just been saying docker service failed to start a few hours after starting it and the service starting fine. We can use jellyfin for a few hours before this happens. Once it does I have to completely restart the server.

There are constant segfaults logged by multiple apps, start by running memtest.

I ran mem test on the brand new RAM I got for it for 2 days straight and it had no problem.  I thought it was the ramit first as well should I run it again?

Yes, and if it's not RAM there's likely another serious problem.

Ok I'll run it again when I get home. Is there a chance it could be the motherboard?

Yes, or the CPU

Hey sorry for the late response. School has had me busy. So I completely rebuilt the system. The only part not replaced was the CPU and I'm still getting constant segfaults.  I ran mem test through and it passed with no issues

Did you figure out if it's the CPU?
