January 24, 20233 yr This is the first time I've experienced this issue. Unraid reported Disk 1 had errors and was taken offline. I rebooted the system to see if that would fix the problem and the drive ended up in Historical Devices. When I re-assigned it to Disk 1, Unraid is now doing a data rebuild when I thought the drive would just come back up. Did I do something wrong, or is this how Unraid does this sort of thing? Is there any way of finding out what happened to the drive exactly?
January 24, 20233 yr Community Expert Solution Once a drive gets disabled it must be rebuilt, diags before rebooting could give a clue on why it got disabled.
