12400 IGPU - VM passthrough problem

Hi Guys,

 

I previously had a server with and AMD 2600 and a GT730. With that system I was able to create a Linux VM with and pass the only GPU through no problem and get output to HDMI. UNRAID would release the GPU to the VM. The server was just too large and noicy and needed to go for something a lot compacter and silent.

 

I now have a 12400 with IGPU but when I try to start the VM and get Attempted double use of PCI Address 0000:00:02.0

I guess that the IGPU card is not being released somehow.

 

Is it even possible to use a IGPU like I want to or is this only possible to do with a separate GPU?

I had no trouble setting up a Linux virtual machine (VM) and redirecting its graphics card's output to an HDMI display. With UNRAID, the VM would have access to the GPU. The server needs to be replaced with something smaller and less noisy.
