  1. Much appreciated. This must have something to do with the package or gameID this is based of because all the official servers have been taken down. But the non-official ones are still running. Not sure what is different with those. But honest very annoyed that the game studio as able to switch off a private server on a LAN.
  2. Hi, Not sure what’s going on. But the Vrising docker is timing out when trying to connect. However it was working fine 12h ago when I installed and played on it for a half a day. I know a mayor patch is going live in a few days and the official servers have been taken down forever what reason it would take so many days to update is beyond weird. Do you know, if me not able to connect to my lan server has anything to do with the disabled servers?
  3. Hi, I am looking for someone who is willing to help me understand why some devices or eighter bussy or dont show up at all. 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Alder Lake-S HD Audio Controller (bound VFIO) is bussy why? My BlueTooth device doesnt show up while it's enabled. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
  4. I have the same case and it's an amazing case. I love it so much. Just have a few weeks and cant wait for a v2. With a little retooling it can be a stellar case. The only thing I don’t like is that they haven’t used the sled system so you can detach the top and bottom with one screw and have separate frame you can tinker with. As it is now the bottom part is attached so you cant really manage the PSU cables. The fan in it is silent. My drive make more noice. This case does need the angled SATA cables like the ones you have and I forgot to order them as I figured I can just get them here. However not these.
  5. Holy ... This thing works surprisingly well. It’s blazing fast and accurate. It’s not transcoding anything but plays all media very well. If I need to nitpick the videoplayer has no controls but you can skip with a right click. All this in a browser I am impressed. How does this work? Thank you for adding this.
  6. Hi Guys, I previously had a server with and AMD 2600 and a GT730. With that system I was able to create a Linux VM with and pass the only GPU through no problem and get output to HDMI. UNRAID would release the GPU to the VM. The server was just too large and noicy and needed to go for something a lot compacter and silent. I now have a 12400 with IGPU but when I try to start the VM and get Attempted double use of PCI Address 0000:00:02.0 I guess that the IGPU card is not being released somehow. Is it even possible to use a IGPU like I want to or is this only possible to do with a separate GPU? Thanks!
  7. I can't seem to find such a setting anywhere. Under what tab should it be you think? -- Edit: Found a screenshot from Asus that has it. But Asrock does not seem to have this feature. Or maybe it's called somethign else. -- Edit: I changes some settings and it worked. Not sure why or how but it worked for now.
  8. Hi, I just upgraded from a B450 Amd system for UNRaid to the ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax. This is my first fairly new-ish board and don’t understand all the terminology. In previous cases I could just stick my UNRIAD usb in a new system and not perfect but it at least it would boot. Now I cannot boot anything else but and usb with a fresh Windows install on it. Not even an USB with Ubuntu on it There is an option in the BIOS to disable Secrureboot but after a reboot it’s enabled again I get the ‘Secure boot violation invalid signature detected’ From what I read online is to load the EFI profile into to by choosing custom and ENROLL Image I can select the bootx64.efi from the list it lets me browse but it wont load the profile and returns with failed. Honestly I am at a loss what to do now as it was stupid of me to upgrade this system during weekdays as files related to my work are on the system. Any help appreciated to resolve this problem Thank you!
  9. This case is amazing and cute. I have the black version. Strange there is no hype for it in the west maybe because it's so new. Tip: If you buy it, also get angled sata cables.
  10. The drives are full and have space varying from 63GB to 125 and have 46296 power on hours. There are no errors. It was an upgrade I postponed as long as possible. Thank you so much guys.
  11. My old parity drive was 8TB is now 14TB (I have 3 more to install/upgrade) The data drives are: 2x 8TB and 2x 4TB. One additional question. Is it better to just add the new drive(s) to the pool one by one and just copy the data over and remove the old drive?
  12. Hi Guys, Maybe someone can help me with this and is willing to explain how this works. My original parity drive had some bad sectors and I decided to replace it and while I was at it upgrade it and my server. I found a good deal with some minimal used drives someone bought from a bankruptcy. What did I do: I removed the old parity drive Zero-ed the new drive Installed the new larger drive and UNRIAD prompted to rebuild the parity and started to do it's thing Now the strange thing: UNRAID showed the progress up to 0.3% and then the info on the bottom left disappeared. It didn't show any progress up until about 37% except that it was showing the time it ran. At it 37,1% I could see that it was writing the parity. It continued and finished without any problem. But the weirdest thing is that the other data-drives were spun down most of the time. How did it make the parity? Do I need to check it again by doing a parity check? But that will take another 2 days. How does this process work?
  13. Hi Guys, Where if any does unassigned devices keep the passphrase stored for encrypted disk when you enter it? Is this only in memory or is it securely stored away somewhere? Thanks
  14. I have the same problem and not sure where the issues is. I cant reboot. Sometimes I get a random black screen at start. When I change something in the XML template and restart it it usually works 1 time. If I shut down the VM I am back at square one.
  15. Hi, I have had this problem as well and it started here and I managed to fix it temporarily it seems. Four days ago I woke up to my server switching on and off trying to get a parity check going. Up until now I am not sure what had happened during the parity check with the Kingston 1TB nvme but it was so severe that my system would switch off and back on even with a rescue disk. I was convinced that the power supply was broken, even though I checked it with a PSU meter. To be safe I ordered a new one. I am hoping I can still cancel it. After a memtest, HDD test, I noticed the problems with the reboot would start when the nvme was inserted in the system. Somehow I managed to clone the contents of the Kingston to a different M.2 I had laying around. I formatted the Kingston and cloned the information back onto it. After putting it back into the server I could mount it with Unassigned Devices but UNRAID would not accept it. ‘unmountable -Unsupported partition layout' After searching the forum I stumbled onto this great post and found the format button all the way down on the MAIN page of the UNRAID GUI. The correct way to upgrade a cache drive is to format it with the format button on the MAIN page and rsync the files back from a backup. Cloning will just not work. Propositions to fix some problematic things: I would urgently ask for the feature that if the system has detected 3 concessive attempts to do a parity check but could not be completed. That UNRAID starts with the array switched off and a error message of some sorts. A more user friendly way to let people know how to upgrade a cache drive? I know and understand why the format button was placed there because it can format all unmountable -Unsupported partition layouts. But for the sake of someone sanity is it possible to have the format button inside the same row for all applicable cases just like Unassigned Devices has it? Best, Noobspy
  16. It was a figure of speech. I dont think 10 years on UnRaid will even be relevant. You cant keep supporting people who use ancient equipment without growing stagnant and stale. I would support a GoFundme and strech goals just to get some often requested things rolling.
  17. Wow this was asked in 2017 Now we are 3 years later ... I think 10 years later we still be debating something basic like this.
  18. Okay - The logic behind this I don't understand. If the share is set to 'only' why have files on the array? I would think if you have a use case place the file(s) in a share with flag set to 'yes or prefer' instead. I appreciate your explanation tho.
  19. Hi, Is it possible to upgrade mover so that files that should not be on the cache pool(s) or files that should not be on the array be moved automatically to the respective position. Fix common problems can identity that files are in the wrong positions. Is it somehow possible to incorporate that code into mover so this can be done automatically. This means we do not have to fire up krusader to do this manually. Best NoobSpy
  20. Thank you - Thank you - Thank you. I want to kiss you even if you dont want to.😙 I woke up sick today fearing I lost the client. The restore option worked and I Got my files back. I have no idea what went on. But I know this will not ever happen again. I want that share synced in real time. Not sure how but will find a way. Again thank you so much I feel a lot better now. 21. Hi Guys, I hope someone can help me fix this problem that is stressing me out here. I made a huge mistake on my production server which hold my graphic design files. Yesterday I tried to expand my cache drive storage space by adding and nvme 1TB drive to to the cache pool. After I noticed this would not give the result I wanted because it became a mirror. I stopped the array and removed the nvme from the pool. I formatted the nvme and added it to a separate pool and started the array. Now I noticed that my original cache drive could not be read by Unraid and Unraid was spitting out errors it could not find the cache drive. I lost one good days of work from this cache because my backup run at night. No I absolutely did not format the original cache by mistake. Come today I have check the the cache drive with: sudo btrfs check /dev/sdc1 Result: cache and super generation don't match, space cache will be invalidated. There is still data on the disk looking at the bytes being used. sudo btrfs check --repair /dev/sdc1 Result: Unable to find blocks group 0 Unable to find blocks group 0 Unable to find blocks group 0 Help -- I NEED this drive mounted. Even willing to accept some dataloss in other area's How can I still mount sdc1 with blocks group 0 missing? Thanks in advance for any help on this. NoobSpy
  22. Thank you so much for your quick reply guys. Much appreciated. I am going to copy this build. But try to find a cheap LSI card. Use a better cooler.
  23. Hi, I am seeking to upgrade all hardware except drives (motherboard, memory, cpu etc.). I do not want to lose all my data. My question is can I build my new server swap in the drives, plugin the USB and get it up and running? TIA for you answers.
  24. Hi Guys - I dont get why I get permission denied when trying to create a .rar file on my cache drive? Could someone help me out and tell me what Im doing wrong ? Cheers!
