I chose 16GB because once I switch from ESXi to unRAID/Xen that is what my 3 main servers will contain.  Currently in ESXi I only have 2GB assigned to the unRAID VMs and would be all I would use if I continue with ESXi.

I do have a N40L server with 4GB and a N54L server with 8GB running unRAID as well as my 6.0b5a server with 8GB and a 2GB WHS2011 VM and 2GB miscellaneous other VMs that are usually shutdown so far.

I imagine many of us have 2GB. Both of my boxes do.

16GB, this is the same hardware I ran ESXi on previously. Now running 6.0-b5a.

8gb.

Waste of money until I upgrade.

Both my servers run 4GB right now. Once I finally upgrade to v6.0 I will hopefully be swapping to either 8GB or 16GB, depending on pricing.

2gb. Was a good amount 3 years ago, and it is hard to see that changing just because more is cheaply available (to people with ddr3 systems..)

6GB in first server.

8GB in second server

2gb

Currently have 4gb in my server.

When I take the plunge to v6 and start playing with vm's I'll probably up it to 8gb. Waiting for a decent xen webui to appear.

I voted 8GB. One has 8GB, the other has 3GB.

2GB but there is no option to specify this....

Was only just recently running happy with 4GB in bare unraid 6 with plex as my only plugin and no cache-dir.  I bumped it to 8GB of ECC to start playing with Xen.

1. An ESXi build that has 12GB total in the box, 4GB of it to the unRAID VM

2. Crashplan backup server (HP N40L) with 4GB

3. Dev/Test/preclear server also has 4GB in it

I seem to have a thing for 4

Server 1 32 gb ecc.

Server 2 16 gb standard.

2GB as well

2GB, but selected 4 in poll.

I currently have 16, with another 16 sitting on the bench ready to install when I get a chance!!

2GB here too... still no option for that

Currently at 8gb but will increase to 16gb now v6 is here.

2GB in both servers. (didn't vote because 2GB is missing) voted

2GB (didn't vote because 2GB is missing)

dito

2gb, also didn't vote.  It may make sense to change the first option to "2gb or less".

16GB.  Just upgraded to a new rig.  Was 8GB before...
