February 28, 20233 yr Hello everyone, after the latest unexpected power failure, one of my unRAID virtual machines has a problem. When I start a Windows10 virtual machine that has passed through Nvidia graphics card, the nvme where the unRAID array is located will be uninstalled when using the graphics card. This problem does not occur when I use mstsc after starting the virtual machine or change the video card to VNC connection. I put on the specific diagnostic documents and some other information, please help me to see how to solve, thank you Quote <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <domain type='kvm' id='4'> February 28, 20233 yr Author 2 hours ago, JorgeB said: Rename /boot//config/vfio-pci.cfg and reboot. Thank you very much for your reply. I understand what you mean by backing up the vfio.pci.cfg file (mv) into vfio.pci.cfg.newbak. At the same time, I found that there are two other backup files in the directory. I haven't backed up this file before. I restarted the computer after modifying the file and reset the vfio-bind. The problem reappeared after starting the virtual machine status of vfio after a problem occurs The contents of the previously backed up files found are as follows Quote config/vfio-pci.cfg1 BIND=0000:01:00.0|10de:1c81 0000:01:00.1|10de:0fb9 0000:00:02.0|8086:3e9b 0000:00:17.0|8086:a102 0000:00:1f.0|8086:a145 0000:00:1f.2|8086:a121 0000:00:1f.3|8086:a170 0000:00:1f.4|8086:a123 0000:03:00.0|1b21:0611 config/vfio-pci.bak BIND= 0000:00:02.0|8086:3e9b 0000:00:17.0|8086:a102 0000:01:00.0|10de:1f82 0000:01:00.1|10de:10fa 0000:03:00.0|1b21:0611 0000:07:00.0|14e4:1639 0000:07:00.1|14e4:1639 0000:08:00.1|14e4:1639 and new diagnostic files tower-diagnostics-20230228-1942.zip
February 28, 20233 yr Community Expert I mostly told to rename that because of were passing though a lot of things, including an IDE controller, but looks like you need all that? The NVMe is dropping offline once the VM starts, do you have PCIe ACS override enabled?
