March 6, 20233 yr hello So i currently use a container running OVPN and Privoxy to run certain other containers through a VPN and to ensure if VPN dies then it cannot connect. I want to now use the built in wireguard client in Unraid as I dont get great speeds with OVPN. I set up the tunnel in Unraid and can see the new tunnel in network drop down for all containers. However those containers with UIs, how would I see the UI if I select the WG client as the Network?
March 8, 20233 yr My answer isn't what you're looking for but I ran into similar issues with vpn speed with ovpn as well as some other known vpn providers. I setup PIA vpn for containers that need it , this allows them to only run over vpn connection, cured all issues related to speed. From what I recall the vpn I was using did not allow port forwarding which hard capped download speed. I then use wireguard simply to vpn back to my network for remote administration of the server.
