Phibster
I have 2 unraid servers with all of my main array data backed up between them. I want to replace all of the drives in the main server with brand new ones and I feel that the new config method is the easiest way to do this rather than multiple rebuilds. My questions are around the other server settings and data not held on the main array. Does new config: Erase things such as ethernet, server name etc? Mess with any docker images I have (all docker images/config reside on a separate SSD)? Is this just a case of assigning the drives back as they were and then re-creating the docker from existing images? I have searched and could not find any definitive answers. Quote Link to comment
Solution itimpi Posted March 21, 2023 Solution Share Posted March 21, 2023 The New Config is about resetting array drive assignments as described here in the online documentation accessible via the ‘Manual’ link at the bottom of the GUI or the DOCS link at the top of each forum page..
