Cache Drive: Unmountable (Unsupported or no file system)

Featured Replies

I started running into general weirdness after upgrading to 6.12.0-rc2. Couldn't connect to GUI but could SSH in etc. A reboot fixed it but now my server is showing my cache drive as Unmountable: Unsupported or no file system. It's a 250gb Samsung 860 EVO.

I am unable to put the drive back into service because it's unmountable, and I'm at a loss as to how to fix it? Unassigned devices has the option to fully format the drive but I'd prefer that to be the final option if possible.

Attached are my diagnostics. Does anyone have any guidance or advice please?

If it's just a log problem this can help:

btrfs rescue zero-log /dev/sdc1

If it works make sure backups are up to date since this problem has been known to reoccur, if it does suggest backing up and re-formatting the pool.

I'd heard talk about you on Reddit, and you live up to the hype! Thank you so much, this has resolved my issue.
Hopefully it doesn't return but if it does I have a way to recover and rebuild now. Thanks!
