Script to auto swtich user's permission from r/w to ro after certain period of time

For some reason, I have to change my account temporaily from read-only to rw. However, I often forget to reverse such changes, and leave a vulnerability there for hacker/ransomwares. Is it possible to switch the user's permission on a share using command instead of the GUI, and make it as a script? Thanks!
