If you do not know which disks were assigned where, create a post in the forum for further assistance.

The old USB drive still detects in Windows, but appears unreadable.  Im not quite sure what to do next.

New USB has booted successfully, sees all the disks, just need to allocate them right.

Windows and Linux options available, if it helps with retrieving anything off the old device.

Thanks

You may find this part of the documentation useful in at least identifying which are data and which are parity drives.

Thank you very much, im not sure why they would post "open a forum post" when they could link there first.

In a dual parity setup, does it matter which was 1st or 2nd parity?

Yes.    Parity1 does not care about slot number whereas parity2 does.   It is safer to assume both parity drives are invalid and create new parity.
