April 28, 20233 yr My /mnt/user folder was rename to user0 and now my dockers are not working after a reboot. Currently getting "shfs: error: main, 3545: Transport endpoint is not connected (107): #012can't chdir: /mnt/user Transport endpoint is not connected" Anyone know of a way to rename the user0 folder back to user so I can start my unraid cleanly again? Using mc from the terminal isnt working. there seems to be a ghost user file that is locked that stops me from rename the user0 folder back to user. diagnostics-20230427-2356.zip Edited April 28, 20233 yr by FatherTime
April 28, 20233 yr Community Expert It is normal to have /mnt/user AND /mnt/user0. They are different views of your User Shares. The /mnt/user one will show files regardless of whether they are on the main array or on a pool, while /mnt/user0 only shows the files on the main array ignoring any that are on pools. the syslog in your diagnostics showed that the shfs process that supports User Shares crashed explaining why /mnt/user disappeared. The only remedy is to reboot the server. More concerning is why that process crashed in the first place. It tends to suggest you either have a RAM issue or possibly file system level corruption on at least one drive. You might want to run memtest to check the RAM, and also run a file system check on all drives if the memtest shows no issues.
