SMART Error on Parity Disk

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I've run into a bit of a problem with my Unraid setup and could use some help. I've got a SMART error showing up on my parity disk, which is two Samsung SSD 870 QVO 1TBs connected via SATA directly to the mainboard. The weird thing is, both the quick and extended SMART tests didn't find any issues. I've attached the diagnostics to this post, so you guys can take a look.

Here's some more info about my setup:

Unraid Version: 6.12.0-rc3

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950x

Mainboard: ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi

Impacted Disks: Samsung SSD 870 QVO 1TB (2 of them)

Has anyone come across something like this before? Any ideas why the error is showing up even though the SMART tests are all good? I'd really appreciate any suggestions or advice on how to fix this.

Thanks a bunch for taking the time to read.

Cheers,

Martin

There are some UDMA CRC errors, you can acknowledge them and if it keeps increasing replace the SATA cable.
