appdata in array

Featured Replies

Hi so i just seen that my appdata is in the array and not on a cache drive, i found out because one drive was always spun up when qbitorrent was running, so should it be on my cache drive ( 1TB) or on the vm/docker ssd (120Gb) ?

Thanks

There is no ‘right’ answer to this as it should go wherever you want it to go to suit your Use Case :)    Normally this would be on a pool for performance reasons but this is not mandated.

It depends :)  Appdata is where the working files for docker normally live but you can configure containers to put them elsewhere.   If you configure a docker to place files there as they download then obviously it grows in size to accommodate those files.
