I cant seem to get this to work. I installed the DDCLIENT via the store, It sometimes errors out with this:

If I go to a browser in the network I can navigate to checkip.dyndns.org, but not the :443 address?

 

here is my config file for DDCLIENT

server=domains.google.com
ssl=yes
login='USERNAMEFROMGOOGLE'
password='PASSWORDFROMGOOGLE'
ddns.DOMAIN.com

 

I have been banging my head on this one... Hopefully someone has a google domain and this setup and is willing to share the config.

I was having this same issue, I eventually got it working. This is how my config is set up

 

ssl=yes
protocol=googledomains
use=web
web=https://domains.google.com/checkip
server=domains.google.com
login='USERNAMEFROMGOOGLE'
password='PASSWORDFROMGOOGLE'
ddns.DOMAIN.com

Just ran into this same issue and this line fixed it for me.

Opening the console for the container and attempting to ping checkip.dyndns.org was not resolving at all but domains.google.com did ping successfully.
