/var/log is full 100% even after reboot a day prior

Looks like Samba is constantly re-starting, try updating to v6.12.1

I was going to mark the above response as the solution but decided to check one last time.  I'm guessing it was more than one thing causing this.  I admit I'm a bit of a n00b, and I really appreciate the help.

Delete this file:

I'm not sure what file I should remove, there is a lot of this that still confuses me. Can you clarify?

This is what I get when I try to remove the file. 

rm: cannot remove '/boot/config/shares/?.cfg': No such file or directory

 

Clearly, I'm doing something wrong. Please advise.

I disabled Samba, since I wasn't using it. No more errors... for now.

Put the flash drive in a PC, look for that file or some strange file in /config/shares
