Missing Files...

Featured Replies

I previously had a power outage which caused one of my drives to be unmountable.  Through the forums here JorgeB helped me do a repair on the drive that was having the issue and all is now well, with one exception.  I'm missing quite a few files (well over 3,000).  I've browsed the individual drives to see if I could locate one of the files and I cannot, but the same amount of space seems to be consumed on the drives so I assume the files are still there but appear to be hidden.

I looked through the forums and found a post that was similar where it was suggested that the particular user in question had corruption issues on one of his drives that was identified in the SYSLOG.  I did the same system diagnostic tests, but don't see that same error message.  Not sure what the proper course of action should be.  I should also point out that UNRAID just finished an automatic parity check following my repair/reboot.

Below is the system diagnostics file.

Have you checked to see if you have a lost+found share?   That is where the repair process puts any files or folders for which it could not find the name but with cryptic names.  However if you have such content you can only sort it out by manual examination.
